Delusions
Belief that is going to be harmed, harrased and so forth by an individuals, organizatio
Persecutory delusions
Belief that certain gestures, comments, environmental cues and so forth are directed at oneself
Referential delusions
When individual believes that he or she has exceptional abilities, wealth or fame
Grandiose delusions
When an individual believes falsely that another person is inlove with him or her
Erotomanic delusions
Involve the conviction that a major catastrophe will occur
Nilihistic delusions
These phenomena appear to the patient to be genuine perceptions, but have no external stimulus
Hallucinations
Hallucination that occur while falling asleep
Hypnagogic
Hallucinations occur when waking up
Hypnopompic
This is normally inferred from patient’s speech. There maybe looseness of association, tangentiality, and or incoherence
Disorganized thoughts
May manifest itself in a variety of ways, ranging from childlike “silliness” to unpredictable agitation
Grossly disorganized or abnormal motor behavior
Is a decreased in motivated self initiated purposeful activities
Avolition
Is manifested by diminished speech output
Alogia
Is the decreased the ability to experience pleasure from postive stimuli or a degradation in the recollection of pleasure previously experienced
Anhedonia
Refers to the apparent lack of interest and social interactions and may be associated with avolition
Asociality
Last more than 1 day and remits by 1 month
Psychotic disorder
Is characterized by symptomatic presentation equivalent to that of schizophrenia excepts for its duration
