The basic and advanced amenities of the tourist destinations would be provided by them.They would also look after the operations and the maintenance of the amenities.
To develop the heritage sites / monuments and making them tourist-friendly to enhance the tourism potential and their cultural importance in a planned and phased manner.

1.Project aimed to provide Affordable Housing to Urban Poor with the aim of 2 crore within 31st Mar 2022.
2. GHTC aims to fast-track the construction of affordable housing.
GHTC focuses on identifying and mainstreaming proven demonstrable technologies for lighthouse projects and spotting potential future technologies for incubation and acceleration support through ASHA (Affordable Sustainable Housing Accelerators) — India
3. A lighthouse project is a short-term, well defined, measurable project that serves as a model — or a “lighthouse” — for other similar projects within the broader digital transformation initiative.

The concept is also extended to Synchronous Frequency.
There were totally 5 different Regional Grids.
On 31st December 2013, Southern Region was connected to Central Grid in Synchronous mode with the commissioning of 765kV Raichur-Solapur Transmission line.
