Othello and desdemona marry
Iago has been passed over for the job of lieutenant
Iago tells Brabantio about their marriage and he is angry
Act 1, scene 2
Othello gets the message that he is wanted by Duke of Venice
Brabantio tells men to attack Othello
Act 1, scene 3
Turks joined with more forces are heading back towards Cyprus
Othello denies using magic to get desdemona
Desdemona verifes she married Othello out of her own will
Desdemona wants to go to Cyprus with Othello
Iago has the plan to play roderigo out of his money and prove to Othello that Cassio has slept with desdemona
Act 2, scene 1
In Cyprus
Turks lost ships and men in the storm
Othellos ship eventually arrives and he orders Iago to unload his ship
Iago convinces roderigo to fight Cassio
Act 2, scene 2
Herald announces a celebration upon the demolishment of the Turkish fleets and the marriage of Othello and desdemona
Act 2, scene 3
Othello leaves Cassio in charge of
Iago gets everyone drunk, in the hopes that it will make Cassio do something stupid
Cassio stabs montano
Othello is angry and demands to know what happened
Act 3, scene 1
Desdemona pleads for cassio’s case to Othello, hoping he will gain his reputation and job back
Act 3, scene 2
Othello gives Iago letters to deliver
Act 3, scene 3
Iago is convincing Othello that desdemona is cheating on him with Cassio
Othello demands for proof
Othello doubts Iago’s assumption and knows this isn’t him telling him all he knows
Jealousy arises in this scene
Development between relationships between Othello and desdemona + Othello and Iago
Act 3, scene 4
Othello demands desdemona for the handkerchief but she doesn’t have it
Cassio finds the handkerchief in his room and asks Bianca to copy it for him because he likes it
Act 4, scene 1
Othello falls into epileptic fit/seizure
Iago is telling Othello to hide whilst he talks to Cassio
Iago is taking this lie far
Act 4, scene 2
Othello and desdemona lock themselves in a room and Othello weeps about how their marriage has deteriorated
Roderigo beginning to have doubts about the plan but Iago convinces him everything will be okay as long as they kill Cassio
Act 4, scene 3
Othello sends desdemona to bed telling her he will be with her shortly
Act 5, scene 1
Iago places roderigo to kill Cassio
Roderigo wrecks the plan so Iago has to eat physically involved
Plan backfires with Cassio stabbing Roderigo and killing him
Iago stabs Cassio and runs away
Iago blames roderigo for stabbing
Act 5, scene 2
Othello goes to kill desdemona going along with Iago’s plan
Desdemona says she killed herself but Othellos then admits
Iago stabs Emilia and kill’s her
Othello kills himself
Iago’s lies have caught up to him
