30 minute delay from engineering.
Majority of passengers are business passengers (Note: businesspeople, not
business class).
How do you handle it?
Develops to 90 minute delay.
Updated TAF with wx requirement on ML for thunderstorms, not for AVV
However, AVV has TEMPO w CB.
One cabin crew no longer wishes to fly due tech issue.
Passengers agitated. What do you do?

  1. Call up Qantas OCC (Consistently monitors weather)
  2. Check likelihood
  3. Decide weather extra weather should be taken
  4. If likelihood is high, encourage taking extra fuel.

If capt refuses to take extra fuel, as long as its safe, legal and operationally viable, I would be ok to depart.
