Give yourself time to read the situation so you can be more accurate with your response.

When you put the relationship first, your horse will put more effort into wanting to be with you and will offer you more.

Leaders don’t lose their patience.
Unlimited patience and persistence will earn your horse’s trust and respect.

Human: Don’t act like a predator; Independent Seat; Think Like a Horse; Use the Natural Power of Focus.
Horse: Don’t act like a Prey Animal; Don’t change gait; Don’t change Direction; Look where you’re going.
Savvy Arrow 15 - Don’t Pick Up Your Stick
Listen to your bell. Only pick up your stick if you need to.
Don’t ‘nag’ your horse with the stick.
