Founded in 1932 by Ibn Sa’ud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Islamic sovereign state which is ruled by the royal family who are descendants of Ibn Sa’ud.

Purpose of the shura council
Shura council’s purpose to is to review and discuss law which then recommended to king. The king which decides whether the information will pass onto the council of ministers, if are in agreement with the Sharia Council will be sent to the king for approval. If there is disagreement sent back with errors and improvements to the bill
Executive meetings
Executive are responsible for implementing government policies and overseeing the various departments of the government
Meetings of the council of ministers are held under the chairmanship of the king (President of the Council of Ministers), or one of his deputies, and the resolutions of the council shall become final upon the king’s approval.

Supreme Judicial Council made of 10 members which cover for a multitude of roles such as promotion, discipline, appointment of judges
