red raised hot tender sub Q nodule most common on shins
biopsy not helpful b/c not sarcoid granulomas
arthritis
more common in men
general symptoms
fatigue, fever, night sweats, weight loss, increased ACE
skin symptoms
rash macules papules nodules hyperpigmentation hypopigmentation erythema ndosum
skin signs
infiltration of old scars and tattoos
maculopapular lesions of face, neck, upper back, extremitis
lupus pernio of nose, cheeks, ears, lips
erythema nodosum
occuluar symptoms
gritty or dry eyes
pain
redness
blurred vision
occular signs
uveitis
iritis
scleral plauques
enlarged lacrimal glands
cardiac symptoms
arrhythmias palpitations near-syncope syncope lower extremity edema
nervous system symptoms
HA blurred vsio numbness weakness instabiity seizures
nervous system signs
CNII, VII, VIII
neuropathies
gait instability
weakness
GI
epigastric pain early satiety RUQ pain jaundice heptasplenomegaly jaundice
MSK
swelling and joint stiffness, pain
