What is an oppotunity sample?
A
Recruit the people who are most convenient or most avaliable.

What is random sampling?
A
Randomly assigning participants to groups.

What is systamatic sampling?
A
Using a predetermined system to select participants, such as selecting every nth person from a phonebook.

What is stratified sampling?
A
Where subgroups within a population are identified. Participants are obtained from each of the strata in proportion to their occurance in population. Selection from the strata is done through random sampling.

What is a volunteer sample?
A
Advertise for participants in a newspaper or on the internet.
