Something that changes in an experiment.

The manipulation of variables to establish cause and effect relationships.

Control all other variables.

What is the experimental condition?
A
Referred to as the ‘treatment group’, consists of participants who receive the particular treatment the researcher intends to study.

What is the control condition?
A
The remaining participants who are put into the control condition and do not receive the particular treatment that the researcher wants to investigate.
