A
  • preganglionic parasympathetic fibres travel to submandibular ganglion fro the Chorda tympani and via the lingual nerve
  • postganglionic parasympathetic fibres then travel in the lingual nerve to the sublingual gland or travel directly to the sl and sm glands not via a nerve
