Nebule- 2.5mg in 2.5ml and 5mg in 2.5ml
Aerosol metered inhaler dose 0.1mg (100mg)

A
Bronchospasm (wheeze) Copd, respiratory distress following submersion incident

Sympathetic agonist agent and broncho dilator

Dosage
A
5mg (neB) or 0.1mg metered aerosol spray
<5 years - 2.5mg NeB or 0.01mg metered spray
>5 years - 5mg NeB or 0.1mg metered spray
4-6 litres O2 + salbutamol NeB per min

Side effects
A
Tachycardia
Tremor’s
Tachyarrhythmia’s
High dose’s may cause hypokalaemia
