- cold water for 1-15 mins
- do not apply ointments
- loosely bandage

- cold running water
- emergency shower
- take off shoes and socks if lands at your feet

- wash eyes at emergency eye station for at least 15 mins
- tilt head injured side down
- water must be moving to remove the chemical from your eye

- do not use iodine as disinfectant
- use first aid sprays
