- usually well managed, refer to GP
- Ask for them to review the patient / diabetic nurse to review.
- prescription of medication if needed / run out.

• Ask the patient to regularly check blood sugar
• ensure someone is staying with the patient incase they have another hypo. offter worsening advice.

• ask patient to regularly check there sugars, and to maintain .
  however if there sugars are low
  can’t keep food down
  blood sugar goes high
  sudden confusion
  short of breath
  reduced levels of consciousness
