INDICATED FOR EXACERBATION OF COPD.
ALSO INDICATED IF THE PATIENT HAS EXPIRATORY WHEEZE / GLOBAL WHEEZE.

If first line treatment (Salbutamol), is inefffective or not as effective as desired.

if bronchodilators (salbutamol or ipatropium bromide), Do not work

do you just wack hydrocortisone in?
no, drug should be done slowly over 2 minutes.
when should predisolone be given?
if the response to nebulised bronchodilators is poor.
