pipettes are placed in the metal pitcher labeled “pipettes” on the contaminant cart. PIPETTE TIP MUST BE POINTING DOWNWARD.
How do you dispose of wet mount slides?
Wet mounts contain live microbes, the cover slip must be removed, and placed in the small metal can that says “coverslips”. Then deposit the slide in the beaker that says “10% Bleach” on it.
