Safety rules
Never enter the workshop without a teacher being present.
Never use or turn on a machine or any piece of equipment without the Teacher being present.
Shoelaces must be properly tied before entering a workshop.
When using machine tools :- Always tie back long hair, remove all hazardous jewelry and tuck in all loose clothing.
Always wear goggles when using machine tools, when directed by safety signs or the teacher.
When using machine tools only one student is permitted to stand inside the black and yellow lines on the floor.
Never distract anyone when they are using tools or machinery.
Never run in a Technology room.
Sign colouring:
Red colour with white background
Blue background with white lettering and symbols
Yellow triangle with Black border and lettering
Green square with white symbols and white lettering
