What is the purpose of the EMER switch on the Audio Control Panel?
Direct connect to COMM, bypasses REU
Voice/IDENT is used for?
ID Nav aid or listen over VOR frequency
When in EMER which PTT switch must be used?
PTT on control wheel
What is the L/R switch on the observer audio control panel used for?
Select between left and right audio panels
What controls volume between crew communications?
INT slide on both ACP
What is the PA button used for?
Public Address system
What lights illuminate when the FA presses the call button?
Green call light on center pedestal and amber call light on overhead panel
How is communication established between flight deck and cabin?
Cabin interphone

Comm 1
What Comm will the FO be connected to if EMER switch is used?
Comm 2
What does the ACT button on the Comm do?
Tunes directly to active frequency, standby frequency is inhibited
How is the ACT mode selected?
Hold button for at least 2 seconds
What does the STO button on the Comm do?
Saves selected frequency to memory
What lights illuminate if the FA presses the EMER button?
Red EMER on center pedestal and overhead
What is the power source for Comm 1?
Emergency Avionics bus
