It was a war between Russia and Japan and Russians lost
What was Bloody Sunday?
The day when the old czar killed hundreds of protesters right outside his home
Who is Alexandra?
The old czars wife
Who is Rasputin?
A “holy-healer” that gained power from the czars wife when he “cured” her son, he was later assassinated by other people of the government (They told the old czar and got a promotion)
What was the February Revolution and who was placed in charge afterwards?
A revolution that forced out the old czar and left the provisional government in charge (The Duma)
What was the provisional government?
A temporary government set by the old czar before he was forced out during the February Revolution
What was the Duma?
The actual name of the provisional government
Who were the Bolsheviks?
A group of revolutionaries that supported the people which gained them lots of supporters (Peace, Land, and Bread)
What was the Bolshevik Revolution?
The revolution against the Duma where the Bolsheviks won thanks to all their supporters
What was the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk (The Brest Treaty)?
A peace treaty between the Bolsheviks and Germany
What was the white army?
A army made up of rich nobles that were against the Bolshevik Revolution
What was the red army?
The Bolshevik army
What is Totalitarianism?
A government that has complete control of its people and what they do

The leader of the red army
