A qualified pilot i planning to carry out a simulated instrument approach with a student pilot as a safety pilot. Is this legal?
No. Safety pilot must be qualified and able to take control if necessary. Could carry them as a lookout though.
In the UK can an aircraft legally fly below 500ft other than when taking off or landing?
