8.8.1.2 Take-off Conditions
PIC shall ensure that according to available
information, the weather at the airport and condition of the runway is safe for takeoff.
VFR Weather minimums
1500 ft. AGL cloud ceiling and 5 km visibility
8.4.1.4 Altimeter Setting
Flight crew shall use altimeter setting provided by the air traffic service within which the operation is conducted.
VFR Minimum Clearance Altitude on sparsely populated areas
500 ft. Above Ground Level (AGL)
VFR Minimum Clearance Altitude on densely populated area
1000 ft. Above the highest obstacle & 600m. Away
Minimum Clearance Altitude Over Water
- No minimum altitude,
- 500 ft. Away from any person vehicle or structure.
Minimum Clearance Altitude Anywhere
- if a power unit fails, An Altitude allowing the continuation of flight / emergency landing without causing undue hazard to persons or property on the surface.

5 km below 10000ft

Right of way rules when landing
An aircraft in flight, or on the ground
shall give way to aircraft in the final
stages of flight.
Aircraft at a higher altitude shall give
priority to aircraft at the lower altitude.
