  1. inspect all equipments
  2. desginate the timer
  3. disignate official scorer
  4. notify each time 3 mins before each half is to begin
  5. verify with head coach that the team members uniform are all legal and that all participants will exhibit sporting behavior.

What are the referee’s 8 duties during the game?

A
  1. designate the official tosser
  2. administer the AP throw-in to start the 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarters.
  3. decide whether a goal shall count
  4. declare game forfeit
  5. decide on matter where scorer and timer disagrees to correct obvious timing errors
  6. confer with official scorer at halftime to change the AP arrow
  7. check and approve score at the end of each half
  8. inform each team and table officials of the OT procedure when the score is tied at the end of regulation
