Hourly
Appointment of a classified employee to an unclassified position that is limited in time and is for the purpose of accommodating the absence of an employee on extended leave or for the purpose of accomplishing a special limited time project.
Interim
Employee who is absent from work on a leave of absence, and has exhausted his paid leave banks
Inactive status
Employment of 2 people in the same position that is budgeted on a regular full-time basis, where the 2 employees share the full-time work hours of the position.
Job sharing
List of employees whose increased knowledge and skill in an entry-level classification qualifies the employee for promotion to a journeyman level classification.
