  2. Malaise, headache, fever, conjunc, cough & lymphadenopathy
  3. Forschheimer’s spots
  4. Rubella rash - small maculopapular lesions from face to trunk & extremeties

What are the 4 complications of rubella?

A
  1. Arthralgia (joint pain)
  2. Encephalitis
  3. Purpura
  4. Congenital Rubella Syndrome (CRS) - teratogenic to foetus but risk of embryopathy decreases with every month of pregnancy
