Preparation and Procedure for RSI?
SOAP MME
A
Suction equipment Oxygenation equipment (BVM) Airway equipment -ETT (7.5, 7.0 or 8.0) -Stylet and ask if you want to bend to hockey stick -Test Cuff with syringe -Laryngosope with 3 or 4 mac or miller -Backup surgical kit for trach - video laryngoscope
PreOxygenate - 15 Lpm NRBM until Sp02 is steady
Monitoring equipment - EKG, Spo2, BP
Medications
End Tidal C02
