• The driver or rider of the vehicle must
• Stop their vehicle
• Ascertain whether anyone is injured
• Render all practical assistance to anyone who is injured or killed

What is the penalty for ‘non-injury’ and ‘injury-death’?

Answer 2

NON-INJURY = 3 months imprisonment or $4,500 fine and mandatory minimum of 6 months disqualification. 
INJURY-DEATH = 5 years imprisonment or $20,000 fine and mandatory 1 year disqualification.

• As soon as reasonably practicable
• And in any case not later than 24 hours after the time of the crash
• Unless the driver or rider is incapable of doing so by reason of injuries sustained by him/her in the accident
