Q

What did Musketeers do?

A

Muskets were very heavy so Musketeers had to rest them on a stand before firing them. A shot would travel 400 metres which was very effective when targeting something from far away though it took a minute to reload. This meant that they could only fire once per minute.

It was also quite dangerous since there was a high risk of blowing their fingers off.
