visible small blood vessels papules and pustules stinging and burning sensation red-bulbous nose- rhinophyma permanent redness
causes and risk factors
cause unknown
seems to run in families but no genetic link found
risk factors include-sun exposure, spicy/hot foods, hot drinks, alcohol, stress, strenuous exercise, hot and cold weather/fluctuating temp
what can some possess?
eye symptoms such as burning, red itchy sore eye lids, rosacea keratosis -inflame of eye, sensitivity to light, can cause blurred vision
some meds can aggravate name 2
CCB
corticosteroids
treatment options
self -care lifestyle - avoid triggers, wear suncream

dose of tetracycline
500mg twice a day for 6-12 weeks
