Romeo befriend’s Benvolio after the servant street fight, Paris proposes to Juliet and Capulet hesitates because of Juliet’s young age. The feud between the two families are displayed, at the ball, Romeo and Juliet have their love at first sight moment.

Mercutio and Benvolio make fun of Romeo’s intense love for Juliet, Romeo meets Juliet on the balcony for their iconic love scene where Romeo proposes to Juliet and she agrees to marry him.
They ask Friar Lawrence to marry them and while knowing the tragic fate to come he agrees to marry them anyways. Juliet is impatiently waiting to be married.

Tybalt demands a duel with Romeo after knowing he crashed their party, and Mercutio ends up being killed, leading Romeo to kill Tybalt (Juliet’s cousin). Juliet first thinks Romeo is a vile monster but quickly switches her mindset knowing she should stick up for her new husband (Romeo). The Prince ends up not executing but banishing Romeo, leading the marriage between Paris and Juliet to go on, because of the Nurse’s betrayal.
