1st Triumvirate Leaders:

A

Craccus, Pompey, and Julius Caesar. Craccus was killed in battle, and Caesar came back to Rome with an army and ‘crossed the republic’ and defeated Pompey. Caesar becomes dictator and it lasts less than one year because was assassinated by the senate.

2nd Triumvirate Leaders:

A

Octavian, Marc Antony, and Lepidus. Lepidus stepped aside and this divided Rome in two between Antony (east) and Octavian (west). Antony allied with Egypt and had an affair with Cleopatra, they both end up commiting suicide. Octavian takes over Rome at 32 and rules for 17 years.

A

Some of the bad things is that he burned christans (persecution) and put them in gladiator fights against animals. Some of the good things he has done are bringing down taxes in Rome and reducing the price of food.

Christianity offers transformation of the inner person, to do to others what you would have done to yourself, love your neighbor as yourself, and humility, charity, and love.

A

Jesus execution was well known because the teaching of Christianity. Now over millions of people believe in Christianity. It gave them something to find prosperity in instead of worshiping an emperor. Gave something to live for and feels real.
