What are the main positions of a PNT cell and what are the responsible for?

Answer 1

1. Primary Negotiator
   Communicates with the subject
2. Secondary Negotiator
   Direct support to the Primary, Filters suggestions and FLYN’s from other PNT.
3. Team Leader
   Manages on-scene PNT. Plans the negotiation and discusses tactics and demands with the Commander
4. Log Keeper
   Monitors the communications between Primary and subject. Maintains a log of communications

- maintains all information under headings for each aspect

PNT Capability Advisor / Co-ordinator
- Provides advise in major high risk/protracted
negotiations

Liaison - Tactical / Family etc
 - Conducts interviews with possible TPI's to assess 
   suitability.
 - Interviews released hostages
 - Collects intelligence
