Describe a movement from The Hunt (2001) that shows the subject matter.
One dancer is lay on his front on the floor facing the audience. Another dancer is stood with his feet in second either side of the dancer in the floor. the dancer stood up makes a lasoo gesture with his arm and throws the arm forwards over the dancer on the floor. As he pulls his arm back, the dancer pushes his upper torso off the floor.
This represents pinning down a wild animal or oponant and tying them up suggesting the rewards of the hunt.
Describe a movement from Strange Humors that shows his choreographic style
The dancers stand side by side facing downstage left. They lift their right leg as they lift their right arm over their head to clasp their jaw. Their left hand grabs their jaw from underneath. They then stamp their foot forwards with a strong and weighted dynamic and as they do so, they open their arms in bound manner. This is done four times to pivot themselves round to face upstage. This movement can be seen in many different works of his suggesting it is part of his choreographic sty;e.
Describe a movement from Inside (2009) that shows the subject matter.
The solo male dancer performs a triple low level pirouette shooting in to pressup position facing upstage right. This shows the confusion, a whirlwind of emotions which led to his collapse. Could show the whirlwind of inner termoil.
