Theft - All elements of theft must be complete to where the suspect has possession of stolen property.

Accompanied by violence OR Accompanied by threats of violence - Violence before/at time of theft. Threat of violence before/at time of theft.

To any person OR To any property - A person/property who has had violence threatened/used against them.

Used to extort the property stolen OR To prevent or overcome resistance to the property being stolen:
Threat/violence cause the victim to hand over property.
The property is taken after resistance is prevented or overcome

What is assault with intent to rob?
When you beat someone up with intent to steal there wallet. But they have nothing on them.
