Always cross at a pedestrian crossing (if there is one)

- Walk to the edge of the footpath and wait.
2 look right then left - If not sure if the car is close or far, wait
- Keep looking left and right until road is clear
- If there is a car close by, wait
- When the road is clear, walk across
