A

For as long as necessary for you to obtain particulars or excersie any powers under LTA 1998.

If you stop the driver soley for establishing ID you can delay them for upto 15mins for this purpose.

A

Inspect - test and examine brakes or parts of the vehicle and LT documentation

Direct - the driver or person in charge of a vehicle to remove from the road if BRGs the vehicle is causing an obstruction or interest of road safety

Forbid - an unlicensed driver to driver

Forbid - a person who is operating a toy service vehicle w/o licence to operate tpt service.

Direct - a pedestrian, vehicle or driving an animal on the road stop, keep to a particular live of traffic or direction. ie points duty.

A: Green sticker - BRG vehicle fails to comply with regulations it rules. ie tinted windscren

  • An owner or hirer of any vehicle must provide Police with 14 DAYS the driver who was involved in an accident or committed driving offences or passenger who committed or aided in commission on of offence and has avoided arrest against ANY offence on ANY Act.
  • An owner or hirer of any vehicle must IMMEDIATELY provide Police with all information available to apprehension & ID of the driver.

A

A

To determine whether the driver contain alcohol in their breath.

A

If the driver is under 20 then you will require them to accompany you to the station, booze bus, patrol car or other such place for the purpose of an EBT, blood test or both

A

I now require you to undergo a breath screening test without delay. Do you understand?

If a driver refuses to undergo a breath screening test what should you do?

A

Clarify that they are refusing to conduct a BST and if they still refuse then require the driver to accompany to Police station, testing place, patrol car or other such place for purpose of a EBT, both test or both. Then detain them give rights. If still refuses then arrest driver.

A

That is a failed resulted, I now require you to accompany me to the police station, patrol car, booze bus or other such place for the purpose of an evidential breath test, blood test or both.

  2. A driver under 20 who tested with alcohol from a passive or BST

  5. GCTS presence of alcohol or consumed alcohol and BST is not readily available or be carried out
