A
mRNA is a single strand of RNA with bases complimentary to a portion of a strand of chromosomal DNA.

A
tRNA carries anticodons complimentary to the mRNA sequence and an amino acid specific to the anticodon. tRNA also has a tertiary structure.

A
rRNA brings mRNA and tRNA together and is the site of protein and production. rRNA also has a tertiary structure.

A
snRNA provides modification to mRNA, tRNA and rRNA (the primary transcripts) before they are ready to function. snRNA has catalytic activity and is involved in splicing pre-mRNA into mature mRNA.
