Tell us about a time you delivered great customer service?
Two jobs ago I worked in a school uniform shop…
I often came across parents with children starting school meaning they were buying the whole set (Main uniform, PE kit and accessories)
I’d often measure the child…
Run around the warehouse and bring them all the options…
Make them aware of the school’s uniform policies
Give them more insight into the school they were going to…
Tell us about how you dealt with a difficult customer?
- At my last job a customer came in yelling and swearing because she was given the wrong size the last time she came and wanted to return.
- I apologised and remained calm, she then told me she had no receipt therefore I couldn’t process a return or refund.
- I discussed with my supervisor and it turns out that we were able to offer her store credit so in the end both parties won and she had calmed down.
