Why should I hire you?

A
  • I adapt to places and different people quite easily and feel once I am familiar with my duties i’d be able to deliver exceptional results
  • Would pay attention to detail in inductions and training to really grasp what I’m doing. Would also form good relationships with colleagues so I’d be able to ask questions and get help when needed.
  • I was taught in my last job to upsell and I’ve become quite good at driving sales at the till.
  • I have experience with dealing with difficult customers and complaints as well as informing customers on what the company sells and the services they offer and I believe this is helpful in any retail environment
  • I’m very easy to get along with and build a friendly relationship with
  • With all my qualities I am also committed to improving my retail sales skills.

A
  • At my last job a customer required multiple services; (uniform, measurements and fitting, custom logo printing, refund and return)
  • 2 trainees experiencing their first week
  • I taught them how to do some things and they all helped out and in the end they felt more confident and we managed to serve the customer.

Have you ever had to deal with a difficult customer?

A
  • At my last job a customer came in yelling and swearing because she was given the wrong size the last time she came and wanted to return.
  • I apologised and remained calm, she then told me she had no receipt therefore I couldn’t process a return or refund.
  • I discussed with my supervisor and it turns out that we were able to offer her store credit so in the end both parties won and she had calmed down.
