There is evidence to show that people do take up norms but some may not due to their own morals
How is aged a risk factor of stress
Adolescents are more likely to be influenced by friends. Adults are more likely to be influenced by their partner or a close friend

How is personality a risk factor of addiction
Extroverts are more likely to become addicted to you to getting bored.
Neurotics are more likely to get addicted to stop feeling panicky.
Personality. Causality
Does the personality cause the addiction or just the addiction cause the personality. However, the study with rats shows personality causes addiction

Ethics of dealing with addicts
Sensitive issue. An addict may be involved in something illegal so the psychologist should report it but then the study becomes invalid
