amount, flow, buffering capacity, pH, viscosity
what is the typical high caries risk child
mother has no further education, poor dental attender, single parent family, low social class, unemployed
poor health and sugar based medications
what is the high risk caries adult
education level, not regular attender, social difficulties, sweet tooth, sugar containing/saliva affecting meds, root caries, secondary caries
what are the 8 elements of preventive programme
radiographs, toothbrushing instruction, strength of F, F varnish, F supplementation, diet advice, fissure sealnts, sugar free medicine
