What happened in the kapp putsch ?

A

Wolfgang kapp gathered 5000 free corps soldiers and took over Berlin.
But they did not have the support of the workers who went on strike.
After 100 hours kapp fled abroad and Ebert returned to power.

1000 workers were killed.
