What exactly is RippleMatch, and what did you do there?
RippleMatch is a platform that connects students with job opportunities tailored to their skills and interests. My role involved expanding the platform’s presence among students by developing marketing strategies and executing outreach campaigns.
What kind of strategies did you develop to expand the student user base?
I worked on strategies to reach out to university groups, clubs, and organizations to increase awareness of RippleMatch. I also coordinated marketing campaigns, both online (via social media and email) and offline (through on-campus events), to encourage students to sign up for the platform.
How did you analyze user engagement data? What tools or metrics did you use?
I analyzed user engagement data using tools like Google Analytics, which provided insights into platform traffic, user behaviors, and sign-up conversion rates. Additionally, I leveraged platform-specific analytics provided by RippleMatch to track key metrics such as user sign-ups, activity levels, and engagement rates across different channels. These tools allowed me to identify the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, assess user behavior patterns, and understand which student segments were most responsive to our outreach efforts. By continuously monitoring these metrics, I was able to fine-tune our marketing strategies, targeting the most engaged user groups and optimizing campaigns for better performance.

I developed email templates and social media posts to promote RippleMatch. For example, I created a campaign targeting students in specific majors by highlighting job opportunities in industries that aligned with their studies, which resulted in a significant increase in sign-ups.
What was the outcome of your marketing efforts? Did you meet your goals?
Yes, my marketing efforts contributed to the growth of the platform’s user base and engagement levels. I consistently met the goal of securing at least 5 new sign-ups per intern, as set by the team. By tailoring our outreach to specific student segments and focusing on personalized, targeted messaging, we were able to successfully increase awareness and sign-ups.
