people aged over 18 have the right to vote in the uk elections. these can be for electing representatives to the parliament or to make decisions on key issues affecting the future. for example in 2016, citizens were able to vote on a referendum to decide the UK’s future i the european union.

right to join a political party
A
citizens usaly pay some oney to join a party they like and as a member of a political party you get to vote on the party leader. in 2014, after the scottish independance referendum, more than 750,000 joined the snp.
