They are poorly controlled as they lack male role models, and become dependant on welfare.
What is the criticism on the underclass theory?
Charles worth: most underclass individuals are depressed, lives in miserable economic conditions affects mental and physical heath, they feel as if they are robbed of identity and values due to being jobless, not all will turn to crime.
What is the breakdown in social order?
Ruined architecture influences peoples behaviour which allows them to commit more crimes as the properties are already damaged.

What are rational decisions?
It’s when deciding when to commit a crime or not. Such as burgers, they go through a national process and questions: which house is the easiest targets? Are there CCTV’s present? What sort of goods are in the house.

- They are not interested in white colour crimes and corporate crimes.
- Doesn’t eat about age, gender, ethnicity.
- CTV seems to displace crime instead of discouraging it, since everyone could be potential criminals.
What is right realist view on crime?
1.Crime is a problem that affects the poor, which means that the poor people are the reason for crime.
2.Right realist believe that tough control
and punishment are the only way to stop criminal trends.
What is the broken window theory?
The signs of disorder such as broken windows, graffiti, damaged buildings, will lead to more disorder, a reason to commit crime.
