Does Riesling benefit from techniques like Oak ageing and Malolactic Fermentation?
No, with its distinctive fruit, it does not need any added flavours
Exceptions to this are?
The extremely complex and elegant dessert wines made from the Botrytis-affected Riesling Grapes.
Does Riesling Age well ?
Yes, Due to its High Acidity and intense flavours.
What can Aged Riesling show ?
Developing notes of Honey, Smoke and sometimes petrol.

Mosel, Nahe, Rheingau and Pfalz (Germany)
The Wachau (Austria)
Alsace (France)
The Clare and Eden Valley (Australia)
