ESR >60mm /hour or >30mm/hr

Rx for RHD
Benzathine benzyl penicillin
Primary prevention of RHD
Adults:12 lakh units
Children :6lakh units of benzathine benzyl penicillin
Secondary prevention to prevent reoccurrence
1 IM nenzathine benzyl penicillin every 3weeks for
5/10/10 years ….RHD/carditis/valvular disease
