it is the vocal folds and the slitlike gap between them that form the entrance of the trachea

the ribs move superiorly meaning the internal intercostal muscles contract and lift the ribs, increasing the volume of the thoracic cavity

If a patient has 95% oxygen saturation what does that mean?
That 95 out of 100 of possible bindings sites on haemoglobin are occupied with oxygen molecules. this means there are 5% of the possible oxygen binding sits the are empty
