What are the issues associated with reviison arthroplasty?
Loss of bone stock (for anchoring)
Ligaments damaged in loosening process

Inability to accommodate axially generated torque without putting great strain on the bone prosthesis interface
How can a bearing surface be designed which has a high degree of constraint built into the tibio-femoral bearing?
High peg projecting above the tibial plateau which is partially captured by a central groove in the femoral component
What are augementation blocks and why are they used?
Flat or wedged shaped blocks that re added to the prosthesis to achieve contact between prosthesis and bone in revision
How might anchorage be achieved if there is gross loss of bone through the loosening process?
