What is the formation of medial moraine
As two lateral moraines join when the tributary glacier joins a main valley glacier.the moraines form a central line of moraine down the centre of the valley
What is the formation of terminal moraine
Terminal moraine forms when the glacier starts to retreat.this means that there is less energy to transport the material so it is deposited in a mound of glacial till at the end of the glacier across the valley.
