What does the Visceral Pericardium do?
A
IT encloses the heart (like a bag) very thin layer

What does the pericardial cavity do?
A
It contains the fluid for the heart to float in and enables the heart to have little to no friction

What are the layers of the heart?
A
Epicardium- outer layer, reduces fricion
Myocardium- middle layer, mostly cardiac muscle
Endocardium- inner layer, blood vessels and Purkinje fiber
