Diplomatic Passport -
Coverage that provides financial protection
against unexpected events or emergencies that may occur during
travel, including medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost
luggage. Travel insurance policies vary in coverage and can be tailored
to specific travel needs
Travel Insurance -
- A type of visa that is issued to travelers upon arrival
at their destination country’s immigration checkpoint, typically for short
stays or tourism purposes.
Visa on Arrival
A type of visa that allows foreign nationals to live and
work in a country for an extended period, usually requiring proof of
residency and/or employment.
Resident Visa
A visa that permits the holder to enter and exit a
country multiple times within a specified period without having to
reapply for a new visa each time
Multiple Entry Visa
A specialized agency of the
United Nations responsible for international public health. They
provides leadership on global health matters, sets norms and
standards, provides technical support to countries, and conducts
research to improve health outcomes worldwide.
World Health Organization (WHO)
- This document is issued to the members of a
government and is utilized for official business travel.
Official Passport
A conditional authorization granted by a territory to a foreigner,
allowing them to enter, remain within, or leave that territory.
Visa
- Provides the right of entry into another country for the
purpose of making travel connections to a third country
Transit Visa
Recognized as a legal document that allows entry to
another country.
Passport
Required for foreign nationals when they leave a country
they have traveled to or for expatriates.
Exit Permit
Valid for one tourism-related entry to a specific
country.
Single Entry Visa
Initiative requiring travelers to or
from the United States to Canada, Mexico, and adjacent island nations to
present their valid passport upon entry.
Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative
- Issued to immigrant, non-immigrant, and student visa
holders who plan to exit and subsequently re-enter the country of residence
without invalidating their visa.
Re-entry Visa
The most common visa for travelers who wish to travel in
Europe.
Schengen Visa
Contains biometric information about the
passport holder and is permanently affixed to the passport by the issuing
country.
Machine Readable Visa
Refers to articles, effects, and other personal property of the
traveler during the journey.
Baggage
Pertains to luggage that is over the normal baggage
allowance and is liable for a charge.
Excess Baggage
The method of systematically arranging places of interest and
enhancing the value and appeal of a package tour.
Itinerary
Serves as a reference for tourists during their journey,
including transit places, arrival and departure times, meal plans, check-in
and out times, mode of transportation, and activities
Tourist Itinerary
The total cost incurred or attributed to create or formulate a tour
package.
Tour Cost
If a guest does not wish to share the room
with anybody, this charge applies.
Single Supplement Charge
The governmental branch in the Philippines that
exercises control and supervision over the Bureau of Immigration.
Department of Justice

Net Rate

country.
Stamp Visa

documentation to an embassy or consulate.
Paper Visa
- A detailed plan or schedule created and managed
by a tour manager, outlining the activities, accommodations, transportation,
and other logistics for a group tour.
Tour Manager Itinerary -
Expenses that fluctuate depending on the number of
participants or units produced, such as transportation costs, tour guide fees,
and meals.
Variable Cost
The difference between the cost price of a travel product or service
and the price at which it is sold to customers, typically representing the travel
agency’s profit margin.
Markup
The original or total price of a travel product or service before
any discounts, commissions, or markups are applied.
Gross Rate
Regulations imposed by governments or authorities
limiting or prohibiting travel to certain destinations due to safety, health, or
political concerns.
Travel Restrictions
Documentation required by immigration authorities to
be completed by travelers entering or leaving a country, providing
information such as purpose of visit, duration of stay, and personal details.
Immigration Form
A program that allows citizens of certain countries
to travel to other countries without obtaining a visa, typically for short stays or
tourism purposes.
Visa Waiver Program
The process of verifying passports and travel documents
at border crossings to confirm the identity and eligibility of travelers to enter
or leave a country.
Passport Control
A company or organization that organizes and arranges
group travel packages, including accommodations, transportation, meals,
and activities, often catering to specific interests or demographics.
